About Us

Hawkeye Steel Products, Inc. is a manufacturing company comprised of five unique brands, all of which have a long history in agricultural production. Eaton was founded in Omaha, NE in 1903.  Pride of the Farm was started in Marshalltown, IA in 1920 and then operated from Waterloo, IA for many years. The brands largely operate independently. Products are manufactured for nearly all non-mechanized agricultural markets. Conrad American and Eaton produce a wide range of corrugated steel grain storage structures and related equipment. Pride of the Farm feeds and waters hundreds of thousands of animals in the USA, Canada and Europe. Pride of the Farm manufactures 100% energy free drinkers, heated drinkers, swine equipment and has the number one position in the sale of mineral feeders in the USA. Brower sells animal feeding and watering equipment with emphasis in the poultry market. Brower also offers a unique line of equipment for processing poultry in small plants. Brower exports its equipment every year to Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean Islands and Asia.  Brower also is a frequent exporter to the Arab and African markets.

Span-Tech is our fabric building line. We started manufacturing single tube frames for “hoop barns” which was a complement to some of our other swine equipment. In the late 1990’s, we noted a surge in demand for other sizes and more sophisticated buildings. Since that time, we have continued to expand our offering with 37 widths ranging from 19 feet to 132 feet, all of which we have manufactured at some point in time.
